I agree with the video blogger, Holden can be annoying sometimes. His questionable behavior brings to light some characteristics that most people don't have. When Holden was in NYC, we see a lot of this strange behavior. For example, when he was standing in the phone booth for 20 minutes without having any intention of calling anyone. There was definitely an underlying meaning to that part of the story. Overall I think it's a good book.
