YAWP Pieces Due - AE Grades 7 and 8
It's That Time!
Your YAWP fiction pieces are due on December 23rd at the latest!!!
Your piece must be 6 pages in length and must have the following components:
Introduction
Middle
End
Conflict
Resolution
Theme
Character Development
Please email your typed story (double spaced with a heading) to Mrs. Mitchell at mmitchell@southamptonschools.org and I will email them to your YAWP teachers from the college!
Once they are submitted, your YAWP teachers will be recommending certain pieces to the board for publication in the YAWP ezine and the directors will choose a handful of pieces to publish.

6 pages is so hard!!!!! can it be like 4 or something like that? My story is interesting but it gets to the point....

@Tavia - Yes, 4 pages would be fine! I think they say "6" because it is a standard number for many fiction stories. But, I have read some very amazing and powerful and poignant pieces that are much less than 6. I can't wait to read it! Email it to me! Don't forget.
